Juan Chicago Zamarripa

Juan “Chicago” Zamarripa, 57, of Galesburg, died at 11:22 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Galesburg Terrace. Juan was born November 22, 1955 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico the son of Leonardo and Sofia (Olguin)  Zamarripa.  Juan is survived by his fiancé, Terrie Delacruz of Galesburg;  three sons, Carlos Zamarripa of Gordon, MN, Shane Delacruz and Cody Delacruz both of Galesburg; three brothers; five sisters; and two grandchildren, Marcus and Makayla Zamarripa. Chicago loved the New York Yankees.  He enjoyed cooking and fishing. Cremation rites will be accorded.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home, Galesburg.
