Judith M. (Judy) Reed, 66, Galesburg, died July 27, 2007 at Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born July 13, 1941 to A. Victor and Joyce Graham Larson in Galesburg, Illinois. She attended St. Joseph Academy and graduated from Corpus Christi High School in 1959. She married J. Pat Reed on August 8, 1959. They were married at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church by Rev. Lohan. Surviving are her husband, Pat; daughter Debbie (Greg) Smith of Galesburg, three sons, John Patrick Jr., Mark (Charla), and Stephen, all of Galesburg and daughter Kathy (Tim) of Stillwater, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Sarah Nelson, Amanda Smith, John Patrick Reed III, Madison and Megan Reed; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Leonard and John Patrick Reed IV; one brother, Jim (Barb) Larson of Plano, Texas and one sister, Joan (Jim) St. Laurent of Los Altos, California, a brother-in-law, Robert McKillip of Galesburg and a sister-in-law, Kathy Larson of Galesburg. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Larson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family Kim and Dave Hight, Dave and Joanna McNally, Abby and Kathryn. She worked at Giant Foods for 15 years as a florist and at Anderson Florist both in Galesburg. She helped establish the Galesburg Railroad Museum, was its first Secretary, was an Honorary Member of the first Board and a Lifetime Member. She also helped establish the Mendota Railroad Museum, was its first Director and a Lifetime Member. She loved to garden, cross stitch, sew and knit. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Galesburg. Funeral Mass will be at Corpus Christi Church Tuesday at 10:00 AM with Fr. William Miller, I.C. officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM Monday at Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg, with Rosary at 8 PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Caringbridge.org, the Galesburg Railroad Museum, Mendota Railroad Museum or to her church.
