Judy K. Anno

Judy K. Anno, 62, of Galesburg, died Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Unity Point Methodist Medical Center, Peoria. Judy was born September 27, 1955 in Galesburg, the daughter of Robert F. Virginia E. (Weigert) Morrison.  She married John E. Anno, Sr., on July 19, 1974 in Burlington, IA.  He preceded her in death on May 31, 2012.  Judy is survived by one son, John Anno, Jr. of Galesburg; one daughter, Selena (Jason) Patterson of Galesburg; one sister, Geraldine (Sonny) Ramey of Denton, TX; and nine grandchildren.    Along with her husband and parents, Judy was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel J. Morrison, Sr. on October 8, 1999.  Judy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; her sister in law, Bonnie Morrison; and a good friend Rodney Motz.  Judy graduated from Carl Sandburg College with a degree in accounting.  She worked for an insurance agency in Galesburg for 15 years.  She also worked as the bookkeeper at Anno and Son Towing and lastly working at Equipco in Monmouth.  Judy enjoyed life, spending time with her grandchildren, traveling to Missouri, and attending drag racing at Cordova Speedway.  She also had an affinity for old cars.  She will be remembered as a giving and unselfish person, always putting others ahead of herself.  Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at First Church of the Nazarene, Galesburg.  Memorial services will follow at 6 p.m.  Cremation rites will have been accorded.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Memorials may be directed to the family in c/o Selena Patterson.
