Julie A. Davis

Julie Ann Davis, 64, of Alexis, Illinois, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, April 21, 2025.

Julie was born August 25, 1960, in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Ronald R. and Joyce A. (Emery) Webber. Julie graduated from Warren High School in 1978. She worked for many years at Maytag in Galesburg until its closure. She then earned her Horticultural degree from Southeastern Community College in Burlington, Iowa. She went on to manage the C Store in Alexis for several years as well as working as a housecleaner. She recently retired in 2024.

Julie is survived by her mother, Joyce Webber of Galesburg; one son, Jayson Davis of Galesburg; one daughter, Jenny Spahnie of Cameron, Illinois; three grandchildren, Willow Davis, Lorcan Spahnie, and Lelan Spahnie; and one sister, Judy (Aaron) Pensinger of Farmington, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father, Ron; a stillborn daughter, Mindy Rae; a nephew, Jacob Ralston; and her paternal grandparents, Russell and Madge Webber.

In her free time, Julie enjoyed crafting and painting, often times selling her paintings and crafts. She was also a hobbyist gardener and loved to spend time outdoors.

Cremation will be accorded with private family services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
