Larry Wright

Larry Wright, 58, of 15318 W. Pinewood, Joliet, IL, formerly of Galesburg, died on February 28, 2007 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet. Larry was born on February 27, 1949 in Ottumwa, Iowa the son of Richard F. and Betty Norma Kielkof Wright. He married Cindy Szymkowski on October 19, 1973. They later divorced. Surviving Larry are 2 daughters: Michelle (William) May of Galesburg and April (Jesse Henry) Wright of Altona; 3 grandchildren; and a special friend Cindy DeVries with whom he made his home. Preceding Larry in death were 1 brother and 1 sister. Larry served in the US Navy from 1969 to 1975 serving in Vietnam. He worked for several years at Maytag in Galesburg. The last 4 years he worked as a LPN at Mc Allister Nursing Home in Tinley Park. He was of the catholic faith. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday March 5, 2007 at Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg, with the Rev. Joseph Presley, officiating. Visitation will be from 2 –5 p.m. on Sunday March 4, 2007 at Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to the family.
