Lily Llave Arcilla

Lily Llave Arcilla, 85, of Galesburg, died at 9:35 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg. Lily was born on January 9, 1928 in Daraga, Albay, Philippines, the daughter of Isabelo and Prisca (Arcilla) Zamodio.  She married Francisco M. Llave in the Philippines.  He preceded her in death.    Lily is survived by her sons, Oscar (Gilda) Llave, Hermie (Terry) Llave, and Dennis (Audrey) Llave, all of the Phillipines, Aveizer (Cherrie) Llave and Glenn Llave of Houston, TX, and Allyn (Lisa) Llave and Rey Llave both of Galesburg; and one daughter, Marilyn (Duane) Thompson of Galesburg.  She is also survived by one sister, Hidelta Mano of the Philippines; 25 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sons, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, her husband, and a daughter-in-law. Lily was a self employed seamstress.  She loved attending church at the Calvary Assembly of God. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday September 20, 2013 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home.  Rev.  Paul Bickell will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Galesburg.  Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to Gordon Behrent’s Senior Center, Calvary Assembly of God, or to the family.
