Linda A. Albietz

Linda A. Albietz, 70, of Galesburg, Illinois, died unexpectedly at home, Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Linda was born December 22, 1954 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Joel L. and Allie A. (Vinson) Lowery. Linda worked as a seamstress, working independently and in multiple factories throughout the years.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed quilting, sewing, and knitting, as well as cooking. She attended Harmony Baptist Church, Galesburg.

Linda is survived by one son, Edward Albietz of Galesburg; one daughter, Sabrina Albietz of North Carolina; two brothers, Harold (Mary) Henricks of Henry, Illinois and Don (Robyn) Lowery of Farmington, Illinois; five sisters, Betty Lanius of Peoria, Illinois, Delories Cage of Peoria, Diane Nash of Pekin, Illinois, Kay (Dave) Scholl of Galesburg, and Barb (Jesse) Martin of Abbeville, South Carolina; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother and sister-in-law, Mike (Kim) Henricks.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Harmony Baptist Church, Galesburg. Pastor Chris Nissley will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harmony Baptist Church.
