Linda Strahan

Linda Rosemary Strahan, 69, of Galesburg, died at 8:51 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg. Linda was born August 24, 1942 in Galesburg, the daughter of Harry W. and Virginia (Decker) Strahan.  She is survived and greatly missed by her daughter & son-in-law, Wendy & Joel Davis, and granddaughter, Erin Davis all of Denver, CO. Linda worked in group homes for children in Denver, CO, where she enjoyed offering comfort, guidance, and support to them.  Linda was an artist who enjoyed drawing faces of people and colorful designs.  She loved collecting teddy bears & miniatures, and loved dollhouses and African Violets.  But most often, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Linda was a genuine listener, observing and offering love, support, prayers, and valuable advice. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned.   Her remains will be interred in East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg.
