Louise H. Taylor

Louise H. Taylor, 76, of 1715 E. Main St., Galesburg, died at 4:50 a.m. on Tuesday, December 04, 2007 at Cottage Hospital. Louise was born on January 5, 1931 in Farmington, Ohio the daughter of Ralph J. and Marguerite Roth Bowser. She married Robert G. Taylor on January 10, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio. Surviving Louise are 2 sons, James of Galesburg and Brian of East Moline; 2 daughters, Glenda Kuelper of Elizabethtown, TN and Pandora Wood of Galesburg; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews; special friends, Richard “Duke” Winkler, Becky, and Brisco and Debbie along with many other special people to numerous to list. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on March 25, 1989; a son, Robert on March 1, 2007; and a brother, Ralph Bowser. Louise was a homemaker and had volunteered at the Galesburg Rescue Mission for many years. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 6 at East Linwood Cemetery, with Reverend Danny Hunt, officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:15 a.m. on Thursday at Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Galesburg Rescue Mission.
