Mary E. Perez

Mary E. Perez, 64, of Galesburg, died at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her home in Galesburg. Mary Eileen Gleason Perez was born July 25,1957 to Eileen F Malnamow & William J Gleason, and raised with her Brother Tom Gleason. Mary enjoyed her dogs, socializing, working, camping, gaming, and spending time with her family. Mary and all of her kids were born and raised in Chicago. She worked at Golden Nugget for most of her career before retiring to Galesburg in 1998. She will be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Wife, Sister and Friend. Mary was called to heaven by her Mom Eileen, Dad William, and one true love Jimmy.  She is survived by her children Gail (giving Grandchildren Amanda and Sean & Great Grandchildren Lola, Clinton and Everliegh), Diane (giving Grandchildren Crystal Alan Jason and Amy & Great Grandchildren Addison Bentley Braden Delilah Novalynn, Hayln, Aubree, and Remington), Jonathan (giving Grandchild Alexander), Jennifer (giving Grandchildren Sean & Sabrina), Fernando (giving Grandchildren Nathan Honesty Arianah Jordan Jeremiah Isabel and Josiah & Great Grandchild Ruzick), Joseph (giving Grandchildren Xavier, Priscilla, and Valerie) Christian (giving Grandchildren Christian Matthew Jaydeen Noah Isabella and Leo).   Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
