Mary Jane Perry

Mary Jane Rogers Perry, 54, of Galesburg, died peacefully at home on January 5, 2017. Mary was born May 31, 1962 in Galesburg, the daughter of Frank C. and Judy A. Bradford Rogers.  She married Lyle Perry with whom she had two sons, Zachary and Dylan Perry who survive, both of Branson, MO.  They later divorced.  Mary is also survived by her parents, Frank and Judy Rogers of Galesburg; two sisters, Liz (Gary Mark) Crouch and Dianne (Mike) Budde both of Galesburg; one brother, John Rogers of Galesburg; and many nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her caregiver and cousin, Deanna Tracy. Mary worked for several years in the family business, Rogers Bros. Produce Co.  She later became a homemaker.  Mary loved her two sons, and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.  Mary had a passion for music.  She enjoyed listening to it at home, attending concerts, and collecting vinyl records and C.D.'s.  She was an avid Cubs fan. Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m.  Pastor Jonathon Baker will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to Beacon of Hope Hospice or to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of her father, Frank.
