Melissa A. Hackwith

Melissa Ann Hackwith, 39, of Galesburg, died at 1:54 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2019 at home. Melissa was born on September 1, 1980 in Peoria.  She is survived by her mother, Debra Ann Snider-Miller of Toulon; her father, Paul Hackwith of Manitou; two sons, Tyce Wade and Evan Wade both of East Galesburg; one daughter, Breanna Wade of Galesburg; and one brother, Brandt Hackwith of Toulon.  She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Billie Snider of Canton; and her paternal grandma, Fran Hackwith of Toulon.  Melissa graduated from Carl Sandburg College with her LPN.  She worked in home health and in nursing homes.  Cremation rites will be accorded.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to New Leaf Lodge, 3500 New Leaf Lane, Peoria, IL 61615.
