View Meredith's Tribute Video Meredith Anne Anno, loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend, 40, of Galesburg, died at 8:10 a.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Richard Owens Hospice House in Peoria with her family by her side, after a brief illness with cancer. Meredith was born August 22, 1975 in Peoria, the daughter of Merritt Dean and Sally JoAnne Dreves Hansen.  Meredith married the love of her life, John Edward Anno, Jr. on October 29, 2000 in Kankakee, IL.  She is survived by her husband, John of Galesburg and her three wonderful children, Robbie, Kaitlyn, and Jeremiah all of Galesburg.  She is also survived by her father, Merritt Hansen of Chebanse, IL and many friends.  Meredith’s mother, Sally preceded her in death in 2009. Meredith was a devoted mother to her children and was always involved with any of their school activities.  She was an active member of First Church of the Nazarene in Galesburg.  Her smile and outgoing personality helped her create the many friendships she had.  Through her church work and friendships Meredith touched many lives.  In her free time, Meredith loved to write.  She had recently received her Associates Degree from Phoenix University and was working towards her Bachelors Degree.  Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at the First Church of the Nazarene.  Pastor Harold Berrian will officiate.  Burial will follow in East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
