Myra Louise Parker Campisi, 78, was born on July 10, 1939 in Dixie, Georgia to parents Carl and Virginia Parker. She went to her heavenly home on November 26, 2017. Mrs. Campisi was preceded in death by her husband Anthony J. Campisi. She has no children. Mrs. Campisi is survived by her siblings Joyce (Curtis) Lampp of Apopka, Florida, Ruth Cheshire of Ft. McCoy, Florida, Cecil (Marilyn) Parker of Davenport, Florida, Cline Parker of Milton, Florida, James (Sandra) Parker of Ocala, Florida, Wayne (Mary) Parker of Ottowa, Ohio, sister- in – law Dolly Gilliam of Galesburg, Illinois, and lots of nieces and nephews. She worked as a hairdresser for 50 years in Galesburg, Illinois. After retiring she moved back to Florida to be closer to her family. She was a member of Wekiva Springs Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and worked with the children’s church. Mrs. Campisi loved to work puzzles, crochet and make jewelry. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2017 at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg. Pastor Scott Wilson will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. In lieu of Flowers the family requests Donations be made to Wekiwa Springs Baptist Church,584 North Wekiwa Springs Road, Apopka, Florida 32712.
