N. Carter Morgan, 39, of Victoria, died at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at home. Carter was born on May 6, 1975 in Galesburg, the son of Diana M. Wetterow. Carter married Kamie Robinson on December 23, 1999. He is survived by his mother, Diana of Victoria; his second mom, Peggy Robinson of Galesburg; two sons, Caleb Robinson of Kewanee and Eli Robinson of Wataga; one daughter, Ivy Jean Robinson of Wataga; his “little honey” Kassy Crider of Victoria; two brothers, Doug and Dean McCoy both of Arkansas; three sisters, Kimberly McCoy of Victoria, Debbie Williams of Arkansas, and Darla Jacobs of Texas; his band of brothers, Triston Johnson of Galesburg, Jason Ostrander of Oneida, Bill Ostrander of Galesburg, Zac Bailey of Kewanee and Ronnie Smith of Peoria; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and one grandson due any day. He was preceded in death by his step father, Dewey McCoy on August 21, 2000. Carter worked for Galesburg Tree Service for 18 years and spent the past several years working as a window washer for Ostrander Window Service. He also worked odd jobs at Nowhere Bar and Grill. Carter was a past member of the sea cadets and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also an avid Pre-1840 Fur Trade Rendezvous member. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday January 17, 2015 at Nowhere Bar and Grill in Victoria. Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
