Nichola J. Sanchez Warrington

Nichola June Sanchez Warrington, 35, of Galesburg, died at 12:32 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.  She was born September 29, 1986 in Macomb, the daughter of Jerry Val and Lucinda Sue (Payne) Sanchez. Nichola was reared in the Macomb, Roseville, and Galesburg areas, graduating from Galesburg High School. Left to cherish Nichola’s memory are her children, Brayden Michael Warrington of Roseville and Hanna May Temple of Galesburg; her fiancé, Don Willett of Galesburg; her loving parents, Jerry and Lucinda Sanchez of Galesburg; one sister, Christina Sanchez; one brother-in-law, Joshua Brand; and three half-sisters: Carrie, Jennie, and Heather. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; maternal grandfather; a half-sister, Tonya; two uncles; and two cousins.  Nichola will be remembered for her warm and caring personality; she was respected by everyone she met. Nichola was extremely family oriented and enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones more than anything else. Her children were the light of her life, and she was very proud to be their mom. She loved to cook and had a great appreciation of music.  Cremation rites will be accorded. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a fund to be established for her children.
