Patricia J. Zefo

Patricia J. Zefo, 73, of 735 W. Losey St., Galesburg, Illinois, died at 5:09 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Cottage Hospital. Pat was born on April 20, 1934 in Galesburg, the daughter of James Etta Falline Stevenson. She married Thomas G. Zefo on August 6, 1955 in Galesburg. He died on March 19, 2005. Surviving Pat are: one son James (Laura) Zefo of Batavia; one daughter Toni (Ron) Koehler of Galesburg; one brother Dean (Mary) Stevenson of Carol Stream, and one granddaughter Jordan Koehler. Also surviving are 2 step children: Tom (Teresa) Zefo of Eolia, MO and Zoe Zefo of Ft. Wayne, IN.  She was preceded in death by one brother. Pat worked at Meadow Gold Dairy, then at Gale Products for 10 years. She then was a homemaker. She last worked at Swedough’s Doughnuts from 1987 until 1997. She enjoyed babysitting her granddaughter, Jordan. Pat was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2007 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with the Rev. Ernest Pizzamiglio, officiating. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 at Watson Funeral Home, and from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 27 at Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
