Patrick M. Glas

Patrick Michael Glas, 56, of Galesburg, died at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at home. Pat was born December 20, 1954 in Galesburg, the son of John P. and Bernadette M. (Tadie) Glas.  He is survived by one brother, John Michael Glas of Galesburg; a sister, Mary Ann (Bob) Goodyear of Oak Run; a nephew, Michael Glas; and two nieces, Jessica Dumse-Orr and Crystal Glas.  He was preceded in death by his parents. Pat was a brakeman for Burlington Northern Railroad from 1974 to 1992. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at St. Joseph Cemetery, with Rev. Msgr. Ernest Pizzamiglio officiating.  No visitation is planned.  Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
