Pauline A. Horaney

Pauline's Tribute Video Pauline Agnes Horaney, 81, passed away Sunday evening, November 24, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Galesburg, IL.  She was born on August 20, 1932 in Wataga, Il and was the daughter of Paul L. O’Connor and Catherine (Kelly) O’Connor. She was raised on the O’Connor family farm near Wataga where her love for animals began.  She especially loved horses and small dogs. She went to grade school in Wataga and the Immaculate Conception Academy in Davenport, IA.  She attended Brown’s Business College in Galesburg and worked at the District Office for the American Cancer Society. Survived by her sister Cleo M. Quigley, Oklahoma City, OK; her nephews, Paul E .Quigley, James P. Quigley, William J. Quigley Jr all of Oklahoma City, OK, Sean W. Quigley, Banner Elk, NC; her nieces, Colleen Quigley Tassin, Kenner, LA, and Marion Quigley Richardson, Tulsa, OK; Five great-nephews, two great-nieces, and two great-great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter A Horaney and brother-in-law William J. Quigley Sr.  Visitation will be 10:00am - 11:00 am on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home in Galesburg, IL. Funeral will follow at 11:00 am at Watson Thomas Funeral Home.  Burial will be at St Joseph’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Knox County Humane Society.
