Penelope Delrose Hedden, 65, of 121 W. Simmons St., Galesburg, died at 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Penelope was born on May 10, 1945 in Galesburg, the daughter of Delby and Patricia Ann (Rosenberg) Hare.  She married Larry Hackspacher.  He preceded her in death.  She later married Roy Allen Hedden in 1996.  Penelope is survived by her husband, Roy of Galesburg; a son, Randy Plympton of Galesburg; 2 daughters, Jeanne Stout of Galesburg and Tammy Lane of Bettendorf, IA; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Also surviving is a brother, Timothy Hare of Las Vegas, NV; and a sister, Jeanne Archer of Abingdon.  Penelope was a freelance seamstress.  She loved life and being with her grandchildren.  She was of the catholic faith. Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded.  A celebration of life with food and fellowship will be Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Shady Hill Saloon from 12-4 p.m.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg.
