Phebe A. Sprinkle

Phebe Anne Louise Sprinkle, 51, of Galesburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home with her family nearby, Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Phebe was born December 24, 1969 in Ames, IA, the daughter of Thomas Lee and Shirley Anne (Wall) Hatfield, I.  Phebe married Brian Eugene Sprinkle on March 3, 1998 at Coldbrook Christian Church, rural Cameron, IL.  Brian survives as do three daughters, Candice Sosa, Megan Sosa, and Cheyenne Sosa all of Galesburg; two sons, Aric Sprinkle and Jake Sprinkle both of Galesburg; five grandchildren, Bradley, Layla, Mattisen, Jesslynn, and Trevis, and a sixth grandchild on the way.  Phebe is also survived by one sister, Shirley (Larry) Estes of Galesburg; and two brothers, J.R. Stevens and Thomas L. Hatfield, II both of Galesburg.  She also leaves behind her best friend, Adrian Cervantez.  Phebe was preceded in death by her parents. Phebe loved the simple things in life, taking road trips with her family, riding the train, the holidays, cooking, and spending as much time with her family as possible.  She loved the outdoors.  She enjoyed spending time gardening around the house, Lilac flowers, going to the ocean and enjoying the smell of the salt air, fishing, and hunting for mushrooms.  Phebe also enjoyed going to the casino and loved her fur babies with all her heart. Cremation rites will be accorded.  A celebration of life for Phebe will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Thomas Legacy Center at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
