Randall Atwater

Randall Atwater, 59, of 385 W. Fremont St., Galesburg, died at 4 a.m. on Monday, March 03, 2008 at Cottage Hospital.   Randall was born on December 16, 1948 in Macomb, the son of Thomas and Helen Bunderen Atwater.  He married Katherine Atwater on June 19, 1976 in Galesburg.  Surviving him are his wife Kathy of Galesburg; a son Randy (Lori) Atwater of Galesburg; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; several nieces and nephews; and 2 great nephews.  Randall served in the US Air Force in 1969.  He worked at Maytag as a liner setter for 23 years, retiring in 1992.  He enjoyed fishing and watching the Cubs play baseball.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Watson Funeral Home with Rev. Kirk Kendall officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
