Rebecca "Beckie" Stout

Rebecca A. “Beckie” Stout, 79, of Galesburg, went to with the angels, family, and friends at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at home. Beckie is survived by two daughters, LeAnn (Terry) Boone and Jonna (Phil) Stout; a sister, Nancy (Guy) Smith; her grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Beckie was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, JoAnn Stout; a grandson, Johnathon; one brother; and two sisters. Beckie was a wonderful and loving mother, and devoted sister.  She was an awesome grandmother and the coolest G.G.; a cool and funny aunt; and a loyal friend.  Beckie had many interests and hobbies including, crocheting, shopping, watching television, riding bicycles, traveling, going to plays and movies, and loved to read.  What Beckie enjoyed most was spending time with her family and friends. Cremation will be accorded.  A celebration of life will be held once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Memorial contributions may be made in Beckie’s memory to the Guardian Angels Humane Society or to the Knox County Humane Society.
