Richard K. Mudd

Richard K. "Rick" Mudd, 58, of Galesburg, died 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at home. Rick was born on December 24, 1953 in Galesburg, the son of Charles A. and Shirley E. (Write) Mudd. He is survived by two brothers, Don of Ava, MO and Danny of Galesburg; and a sister, Kathy Stegens of Galesburg.  Rick was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gary, and two sisters, Charlotte Hoops and Lois Butts. Rick had worked at Rheinschmidt's Carpet as a carpet layer for many years.  He last worked for the Animal Shelter.  In Rick's spare time he loved to go fishing. A Memorial service will be held Saturday June 16, 2012 at the Salvation Army, 510 N. Kellogg St., Galesburg, IL.  Cremation rites will be accorded and have been entrusted to Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg.
