Robert "Bob" Taylor

Robert “Bob” Taylor, 53, of 578 W. South St., Galesburg, died at 12:22 a.m. March 1, 2007 at Seminary Manor.    Bob was born on October 13, 1953 in Mitchell, Indiana the son of Robert G., Sr. and Louise Bowser Taylor.  He is survived his mother Louise Taylor of Galesburg; 2 brothers:  James Allen Taylor of Galesburg and Brian Keith Taylor of East Moline; 2 sisters:  Glenda Kuelper of Elizabethton, TN and Pandora Wood of Galesburg.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, a special Aunt Ruth Page of Elizabethton, TN, and a special friend with whom he made his home Sherry Settles.   Bob graduated from Glenwood Military School.  He worked at Briggs in Abingdon for many years until it closed, and was currently working for Dick Blick in Galesburg.  He was a song-writer and producer.   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday March 5, 2007 at East Linwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12 – 1:45 p.m. on Monday March 5, 2007 at Watson Funeral Home.  Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
