Roger W. Simpson

Roger W. Simpson, 56, of 1926 180th Ave, Galesburg, died at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Galesburg Terrace. Roger was born on June 19, 1951 in Galesburg, the son of David F. and Charlotte Williams Simpson. Surviving Roger are his fiancé, Luellen “Tina” Brackens of Galesburg; 3 nieces including Sherry Kitch of Galesburg; and several great nieces and nephews. Preceding Roger in death are his father, David Simpson; mother, Charlotte Rylander; a brother, James D. Simpson; and a sister, Sharon Kay Simpson. Roger had been a sheet metal worker for 38 years, last working at Service Pro. He was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 91. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Watson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
