Sharon Lynn Webb

Sharon Lynn Webb, 79, of Galesburg, died on Sunday, February 18, 2018, 3:15 am, at the Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville.   Sharon was born on July 4, 1938, in Warren County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Harry and Gertrude (Shaver) Clayton. She married LeRoy Webb on June 20, 1958, in Knox County. He preceded her in death in 1999. Sharon is survived by a son, Gaylon (Sherry Edwards) Webb of Galesburg; a daughter, Mary (Phil) Peters of Corinth, Texas; sisters, Carol Barron of Galesburg and Betty Johnson of Monmouth; three grandchildren, Megan Webb of Galesburg, Jarrett Peters of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Drew (Kristin) Peters of Lewisville, Texas; one great granddaughter, Brynn Peters; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Kaye Bresnahan.   Sharon was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.   Per Sharon’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned. Arrangements have been entrusted with Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorials in Sharon’s honor may be donated to a charity of the donor’s choosing
