Sheila A. Crandall

Sheila Ann Crandall, 65, of Galesburg, died at 5:30 p.m. April 29, 2021. Sheila was born September 23, 1955 in Bessemer, AL, the daughter of Judge David and Margaret (Melton) Mathews, Sr.  She married Robert Dean Crandall.  He survives as do two sons, Joshua Lee Crandall and Zachary Leon (Darcy) Crandall both of Lewisburg, TN; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.  Sheila is also survived by one brother, Paul Mathews of Galesburg; and 3 sisters, Margaret Faye Cooper of Galesburg, Patricia (Dan) Simpson of Charleston, SC, and Penny (Rich) Henry of Victoria.  Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Judge, Jr., Rickey, and David. Sheila worked as a press brake operator at Butler Mfg. in Galesburg for several years.  She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed crafting. Cremation will be accorded.  No services are planned.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
