Steve J. Campbell

Mr. Steve J. Campbell, 58, of Knoxville, IL, died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at home. Steve was born October 28, 1955 in Galesburg, the son of Lindy and Dorothy (Smith) Campbell.  He married Patty Peck. Steve is survived by his wife Patty of Knoxville; two daughters, Sabrina (Mike) Kavanagh of Knoxville and Stefanie (Ben) Kimmitt of Henderson; and numerous brothers and sisters.  Steve is also survived by three grandchildren, Mikey and Logan Kavanagh and Will Kimmitt. He was preceded in death by his parents. Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded.  A celebration of his life will start at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Knoxville American Legion.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in c/o Watson-Thomas Funeral Home, 1849 N. Seminary St., Galesburg, IL 61401.
