Steven L. Fox

Steven Louis Fox, 59, of Galesburg, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday July 26, 2012 at home with his family by his side. Steve was born December 23, 1952 in Galesburg, the son of William Louis and Bertha K. (Pecsi) Fox.  He married Reva Rohr on August 25, 1973 in Monmouth.  Steve is survived by his wife Reva of Galesburg; a daughter, Angel Fox of Galesburg; his granddaughter, Aspen K. Fox; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by a brother, Albert Fox of Peoria; two ½ brothers, Raymond Boyd of Ocala, FL and Luther Fox of Grovespring, MO; and two ½ sisters, Peggy Vandehove and Mary Nichols both of Galesburg.  Steve was preceded in death by his parents and a ½ brother, William Boyd. Steve and Reva owned a carnival concessions business for 28 years.  Recently, they have owned and operated Fox portable restrooms.  In his free time Steve enjoyed visiting with family and friends.  He also enjoyed skeet shooting and building trailers in his workshop.    Steve and Reva had recently been attending Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Funeral services for Steve will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at Watson Funeral Home, with Pastor Dan Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Warren Co. Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Watson Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to an Education Fund for Aspen at Heritage Credit Union.
