Sylvia J. Hebard

Sylvia J. Hebard, 56, of Peoria, AZ formerly of Galesburg, passed away January 15, 2007 at 5 a.m. in Arizona.   She was born on April 19, 1950 in Alpha, Illinois the daughter of George and Edith Meek Johnson.  Both parents preceded her in death in 1969.  She married Larry Seidman in Galesburg in 1979, and in 1994 she married Mark Hebard in Las Vega, NV.  They moved to Arizona in 1997.             She is survived by her husband Mark of Peoria, AZ; a son Eric Seideman of Cameron; a brother Steve Johnson of Northbrook; a sister Susan Deryke of Islamorada, FL and 2 grandchildren.   She graduated from Alwood High School in 1968.  She worked for several years in administration at both Admiral and Cottage Hospital, and spent 12 years, ending in 1996, as the secretary of the Western Illinois Police Training Unit in Galesburg.  Cremation rites took place in Arizona.  Graveside services will be held Saturday January 27, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Woodhull Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to AFTD (The association for Frontotemporal Dementia.).
