Thomas A. Schubert

Thomas Anthony Schubert, 78, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 5:20 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.

Thomas was born on September 5, 1946, in Alhambra, California, the son of Frederick and Francis Gertrude (Couch) Schubert. He entered the United States Marine Corp on September 9, 1963, serving in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on September 8, 1967. Thomas went on to work as a welder for many years in the automotive industry.

Cremation has been accorded. Interment will be at Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
