V. Patricia Luna

Patricia Luna, 85, of Galesburg, died at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg. Pat was born July 19, 1933 in Lincoln, NE the daughter of Delores L. and Soledad (Aguire) Vallejo. She married Vincent A. Luna on April 16, 1955 in East Moline. Pat is survived by her husband of 63 years, Vincent; two daughters, Annette Luna of Mesa, AZ and Patricia (Mark) Sellner of Sarasota, FL; and one grandson, Vincent J. Sellner of Chicago. Pat is also survived by two brothers, Socorro Vallejo of East Moline and Lawrence Vallejo of Silvis; and one sister, Virginia (Bob) Doran of Bettendorf, IA. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary Vincent; one brother, Leo Vallejo; and a sister in law, Nona Vallejo. Pat was a member of Corpus Christi Church and a former member the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a past member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. Pat enjoyed working around her home especially in her garden. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory. The rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Father William T. Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Galesburg. Memorials may be directed in Pat’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
