William L. Wessels

William L. Wessels, Alexis, died December 31, 2020 at home. He was the son of William H. and June Wessels.  He married Michele Shunick.  He is survived by his wife; son, Aaron Wessels; daughter, Ashley (Mark) Southard; two granddaughters, Alexia Wessels and Alexis (Nick) Massa.  He is also survived by one sister, Elaine; and three brothers, Gary, Rick, and Ben.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Terry. He was a lifelong farmer whose roots will always be in the heartland.  Per his wishes private graveside services will be at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to ROWVA FFA or Knox Co 4-H.
