William Lyndon Graham

William Lyndon Graham, 29, of Galesburg, died at 9:58 p.m. on Thursday March 4, 2010.   Bill was born on March 28, 1980 in Galesburg, IL, the son of Lyndon and Sherry Wyne Graham.  Surviving Bill are his parents Lyndon and Sherry, both of Galesburg; a sister, Amy (and Eric) Arnold of Ft. Worth, TX; a nephew, Graham Arnold; many cousins, aunts, and uncles.  Also surviving is his paternal grandmother, Bernice Graham of Carthage, IL.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wallace Graham; and his maternal grandparents, William and Barbara Wyne.    Bill graduated from Galesburg High School in 1998. He attended Gogebic College to study Ski Resort Management in Ironwood, MI.  He later transferred to College of the Sequoias in Visalia, CA for 2 years and finished his studies at Bradley University in Peoria, IL.  While he was in California, Bill worked in sales in the electronics department of Sears.  He also spent a couple years working in LasVegas, NV in sales.   Through the years he also helped with the family business, Radke Fine Furniture.   Bill excelled in sports.  He was on the swim team at the YMCA and was also on the summer swim team at Soangetaha Country Club.  He especially enjoyed playing baseball and golf.  He was an avid snow skier.  Bill loved his family very much.  He enjoyed being outdoors, especially with his beloved Labrador, Winston.  He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Galesburg.    A celebration of life will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Monday, March 8th, 2010 at Watson Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Parker officiating.  Burial will be at a later date.
